Matteo Raggiwas born in Bologna 17/08/1968. He studied with ROBERT BONISOLO in Italy and BARRY HARRIS and CHARLES DAVIS in New York. He has also collaborated with American alto player LARRY SMITH. He has played at the Teatro Comunale of Bologna with the “DOCTOR DIXIE JAZZ BAND”, in Mestre with the PIETRO TONOLO ORCHESTRA and in Ravenna with the orchestra of trumpet player MAURIZIO PIANCASTELLI. In Paris he played with the quartet of TIMOTHY HAYWARD (alto), VINCENT LAFONT (piano), GUS NEMETH (bass),
